Cover reveal: Wicked Kiss

Wicked Kiss
by Michelle Rowen
Series: Nightwatchers #2
Release Date: March, 2013

Official Blurb:

MY KISS CAN KILL. I used to be ordinary Samantha Day, but that's changed. Now, after one dark kiss from a dangerous boy, I can steal someone's soul...or their life. If I give in to the constant hunger inside me, I hurt anyone I kiss. If I don't...I hurt myself.

Bishop is the one whose kiss I crave most, but if I kiss him, I'll kill him. Then there's another boy, one I can't hurt. One whose kiss seems to miraculously quell my hunger. They're both part of a team of angels and demons that's joined forces in my city to fight a mysterious rising darkness, an evil that threatens everyone I know and love. I just wonder if I'll be able to help Bishop-or if I'm just another part of the darkness he's sworn to destroy....

NIGHTWATCHERS

When angels and demons must work together,
something beyond evil is rising...

Im having mixed feelings here... I do like the cover but I'm not digging the whole scarf thing going on in there... And is that a dress? A coat? Sigh, anyway, the color is pretty, the model is also very appealing and the effect of water very cool.

And since I liked the first book, Dark Kiss, this one goes straight to my wishlist ;)

  1. I'm not really too fond of this cover, because all I see is a SCARF. :D But the color's pretty; you're right about that. And the content's more important and that's what I'm looking forwad to most. ;)

  2. @Carina: I know, right?! The scarf steals all the attention! Sigh... You would think they had people to notice things like that but whatever...
Glad to know you want to read this book too, I can't wait to know what happens next! ;)

  4. I agree the scarf does look a bit much but is that because perhaps the wind is a strong component of the story?! I do love the pinkness of the whole cover though, it gives it something a bit... special somehow? I'd definitely pick this up in a book store.
