Cover reveal: Release by M.R. Merrick

I'm really happy to be part of this cover reveal! You know why, right? I'm sure most of you already know and have read The Protector series by M.R. Merrick and, if so, I'm so jealous of you!!! :] But, let me show you the cover and then we can talk ;)

Release
by M.R. Merrick
Release Date: 10th December, 2012
Series: The Protector #3

Official synopsis:

After uniting the shifters and calling in reinforcements, Chase has to face his toughest challenge yet: learning to control his emotions. But as tensions rise and his powers grow, controlling his emotions becomes the least of his problems.

Terrorized by a multi-shifter who is hell-bent on turning him, Chase questions just how far he’s willing to go to stop his father. Meanwhile, Tiki’s virtuous nature has placed him in the middle of Vincent’s past, leaving Chase to oppose a senate of vampires and defend a demon he hates.

Trying to balance his friends, his enemies, and his inner demons, Chase is left searching for answers about the Mark, his destiny, and where he can find the next soul piece. Stopping Riley is his top priority, but as more obstacles arise, he finds himself doubting all the decisions he’s made - especially regarding Rayna.

One thing is for certain: Chase has finally realized that he doesn’t know anything. The light doesn’t always quell the darkness, the monsters don’t always stay in the shadows, and the past doesn’t always stay in the past - sometimes, the demons inside are the hardest to fight.

You can find M.R.Merrick here:
And you can find the first two books here:

Great, right? It fits perfectly the other two covers and I like the mix of colors it has. I didn't know grey, purple, pink and blue-ish could go so well together!
This is one of those series that I'm dying to read and never find the time to... Which is going to change real soon 'cause hopefully I'll begin this weekend.

What do you think about it, guys? Have you read this series already? It would be awesome to know your opinion about this ;)

Cover reveal: Opal (Lux #3)

Opal
by Jennifer L. Armentrout
Release Date: 11th December, 2012

Official Blurb:

No one is like Daemon Black.

When he set out to prove his feelings for me, he wasn’t fooling around. Doubting him isn’t something I’ll do again, and now that we’ve made it through the rough patches, well... There’s a lot of spontaneous combustion going on.

But even he can’t protect his family from the danger of trying to free those they love.

After everything, I’m no longer the same Katy. I’m different... And I’m not sure what that will mean in the end. When each step we take in discovering the truth puts us in the path of the secret organization responsible for torturing and testing hybrids, the more I realize there is no end to what I’m capable. The death of someone close still lingers, help comes from the most unlikely source, and friends will become the deadliest of enemies, but we won’t turn back. Even if the outcome will shatter our worlds forever.

Together we’re stronger... and they know it.

Finally one of the most expected covers has been revealed and I... freaking LOVE it!!! Yeah, can you tell how excited I am about it? What can I say, the cover is great and we all know how amazing do Pepe and Sztella look together.

They are such an amazing and handsome couple! I'm sure their babies are going to be breathtaking xD

Anywho, going back to the cover. What about you guys? Opinion? Falling in love? Hating it so much you can't even breathe?

Cover reveal: If I Should Die (UK edition)

If I Should Die
by Amy Plum
Release Date: May, 2013

Official Blurb:

No official blurb yet.

So, what do we know about this cover? So far we know that this is the UK version of the cover and that although similar the US cover will have a few differences.

My opinion? I'm not sure, hahaha. I mean I like it but not as much as the other two covers in the series you know? Maybe the colors? The way she is standing? All that twirling around her? Dunno... So I'm gonna have to wait for the US cover to be revealed and then choose a favorite one.

But what about you, guys? Do you like it? Not? Tell me :]

Blog Tour Review + Giveaway: The Claiming of Sleeping Beauty (+18)

The Claiming of Sleeping Beauty

by Anne Rice
Series: Sleeping Beauty #1
Release date: 1st May, 1999
Publisher: Plume
Pages: 253 (ebook copy given for blog tour)

Summary from Goodreads:

From bestselling author Anne Rice, writing as A.N. Roquleaure. In the traditional folktale of 'Sleeping Beauty,' the spell cast upon the lovely young princess and everyone in her castle can only be broken by the kiss of a Prince. It is an ancient story, one that originally emerged from and still deeply disturbs the mind's unconscious.
Now Anne Rice's retelling of the Beauty story probes the unspoken implications of this lush, suggestive tale by exploring its undeniable connection to sexual desire. Here the Prince reawakens Beauty, not with a kiss, but with sexual initiation. His reward for ending the hundred years of enchantment is Beauty's complete and total enslavement to him as Anne Rice explores the world of erotic yearning and fantasy in a classic that becomes, with her skillful pen, a compelling experience.

10 Things I Loathe About You

Nik-
I loathe your ginormous ego,
it gets bigger by the day.
I loathe it when you make me blush,
with all the sexy things you say.
I loathe the way you flash ‘the smile’,
and expect all the girls to swoon.
I loathe it when you kick my butt,
and the fact that I’m not immune.
I loathe your heinous friends.
Why do you always take their side?
I loathe the way I trust you,
I never have to hide.
I loathe the way you make me want you
with your kisses full of fire.
I loathe the way you hold me captive,
no different than a sire.
I loathe how you’re always here for me,
I can do it on my own.
I loathe it when you make me weak,
I have to be like stone.
- Katia
