Hi Alaiel! Thanks for featuring the Red Dawn blog tour on Librarian Mouse today! For those who’ve been stalking the tour in hopes of catching Katia’s reply to ‘10 Things I Love About You’, the wait is over!
If you missed, ‘10 Things I Love About You’, you can check it out HERE.
[Alaiel: Which I HIGHLY recommend you, guys! It's so good that you will love it. And it helps to understand Katia and Nik's relationship a lot more.]

10 Things I Loathe About You

Nik-
I loathe your ginormous ego,
it gets bigger by the day.
I loathe it when you make me blush,
with all the sexy things you say.
I loathe the way you flash ‘the smile’,
and expect all the girls to swoon.
I loathe it when you kick my butt,
and the fact that I’m not immune.
I loathe your heinous friends.
Why do you always take their side?
I loathe the way I trust you,
I never have to hide.
I loathe the way you make me want you
with your kisses full of fire.
I loathe the way you hold me captive,
no different than a sire.
I loathe how you’re always here for me,
I can do it on my own.
I loathe it when you make me weak,
I have to be like stone.
- Katia

Katia’s done running. She’s fought fiercely to protect her identity, her secrets, and those she loves most. And while it hasn’t been easy, she’s finally making peace with the past. Katia’s even looking forward to the start of a new school year at Crossroads Academy.

Too bad things at Crossroads are going to be a little different this fall. There are new rules, new students, and new relationships. Katia quickly discovers that navigating the halls of Crossroads is as complicated as ever.

When a friend’s life is at stake, Katia will be forced to choose between the safety of Crossroads and an enemy more dangerous than any she’s ever faced. Will Katia have the courage to risk it all -including her life- for a friend?

  4. Though I do love poetry, I don't usually enjoy the ones that rhyme! Even so, it was a light read and I appreciate the giveaway. Thanks!

  9. Great post! I read both and I think they tie for me. I love the warm happy feeling you get reading the "love" one, but I think you really get a feel for what she's feeling in the "loathe" poem!

If you haven't yet, you should read the "love" poem by Nik.
