Cover reveal: Release by M.R. Merrick

I'm really happy to be part of this cover reveal! You know why, right? I'm sure most of you already know and have read The Protector series by M.R. Merrick and, if so, I'm so jealous of you!!! :] But, let me show you the cover and then we can talk ;)

Official synopsis:

Trying to balance his friends, his enemies, and his inner demons, Chase is left searching for answers about the Mark, his destiny, and where he can find the next soul piece. Stopping Riley is his top priority, but as more obstacles arise, he finds himself doubting all the decisions he’s made - especially regarding Rayna.

One thing is for certain: Chase has finally realized that he doesn’t know anything. The light doesn’t always quell the darkness, the monsters don’t always stay in the shadows, and the past doesn’t always stay in the past - sometimes, the demons inside are the hardest to fight.

Great, right? It fits perfectly the other two covers and I like the mix of colors it has. I didn't know grey, purple, pink and blue-ish could go so well together!
This is one of those series that I'm dying to read and never find the time to... Which is going to change real soon 'cause hopefully I'll begin this weekend.

    MR Merricks cover of Release looks spooky and perfect for Halloween! It looks like an old haunted castle, and I love the purple electrical storm with lightening in the sky. This looks like the perfect read for October, the month of Halloween!

    I love the red violet of the water on the cover, but if the castle/ruins/??? are supposed to be right on the water, the perspective is a bit off! =)

    I really loved that cover. The colors are perfect and the whole design is just beautiful. I would read the book for the cover alone, but I have to say that the synopsis sounds pretty good too.

    I like the cover a lot, especially, the castle. It looks very foreboding and yet very important too. If it makes you feel any better I have never read this series either but the blurb for this book sounds really great. So I guess I am off to Goodreads...
