Feature & Follow Friday (20)

Feature & Follow Friday is a weekly meme created by Parajunkee and co-hosted by Alison Can Read where bloggers hop around meeting and following other bloggers.

To join the fun and make new book blogger friends, just follow these simple rules:

  • (Required) Follow Parajunkee.com  & Alison Can Read (our hosts).
  • (Required) Follow our Featured Bloggers - Lauren Get's Literal &a FicBookReviews.
  • Put your Blog name & URL in the Linky thing.
  • Grab the button up there and place it in a post, this post is for people to find a place to say hi in your comments
  • Follow Follow Follow as many as you can, as many as you want, or just follow a few. The whole point is to make new friends and find new blogs. Also, don't just follow, comment and say hi. Another blogger might not know you are a new follower if you don't say "HI"
  • If someone comments and says they are following you, be a dear and follow back. Spread the Love...and the followers
  • If you're new to the follow friday hop, comment and let me know, so I can stop by and check out your blog!

  • Q: What is your biggest pet peeve when it comes to books? Maybe you don’t like love
triangles or thin plots? Tell us about it!

Very good question... Hum... I would say that I hate when authors can't be original. And don't get me wrong, I understand that some books (like Twilight) have so much succes that other people use it to get their books out there. And that's fine. But please, please, try to make it original, there's no need to practically copy a whole book and change a few words, a few names and the author's name.

So yeah, that's my answer xD

And, today starts the Book Lover's Giveaway Hop, make sure to participate to win $15 to buy books from TBD (International!).
And, if you could participate in my Emotional Experiment game it would mean the world to me, it's really important.
Hugs to everybody and happy weekend!

    1. I dont know why someone would try to write at all if they dont have a thought of their own, but even worse is when an author practically rewrites one of their other books and gives it a different title. lol

    3. I didn't think of this but it's a great answer. I hate when I start a book I know I haven't read but I still sit there and wonder because it seems so familiar

    4. I don't like that either. Although some trends are repeated with different authors, I try to see the differences. And usually they are pretty different to me at least! :)

      Here's my Friday Hops

    5. You tend to find a lot of the same basic formulas. I have to agree with it that way.

    8. Yeah, I definitely agree with you. It's quite annoying when it seems like every book you pick has the same or similar theme or story to them and it's almost like you're reading ten different versions of the same story with forty different possible scenarios that can be played out any way. That's why I've been trying to read a lot more contemporary and/or dystopia/fantasy and historical.
