A detective with a secret…
When homicide detective Alexandra Jarvis sees a photo of Seth Benjamin on a police bulletin, she knows that Heaven’s plan to halt Armageddon has gone terribly wrong. As the only mortal who knows of Seth’s true nature, she’s also the only one who can save him.
An exiled angel turned assassin…
Aramael was a hunter of Fallen Angels until a traitor forced him into earthly exile. Now, with no powers and only a faint memory of Alex, his mortal soulmate, he will stop at nothing to redeem himself—even if it means destroying Seth in the name of the Creator.
A world with little chance of redemption…
As Alex’s need to protect Seth sets her on a collision course with the determined Aramael, the conflict between them may push the world over the edge—and into the very chaos they’re trying to prevent.

Review By Alaiel Kreuz:
It's always difficult to do a review of a book that is part of a series without writing spoilers so I'm really sorry if my review is kind of short. But I'll try to make it as interesting as I can 'cause, you know, this book deserves it all.
In the first book, Sins of the Angels, we only see the small picture. The book itself is like the foundation that will lead to this book which gives us a sneak peek of the big (bigger) picture. And I'm saying sneak peek because I believe that although Sins of the Son shows us some light the third book will give us the whole perspective.
The main difference with this book is that the plot doesn't focus on Alex and Aramael (which was kind of sad considering I like him a lot) but it does focus on Alex and Seth. Remember him? We already know that he is the son of God (which, if you remember, is a she) but this time he has made a choice that puts him in a very difficult situation: he decided to come back to Earth and be with Alex but something went deadly wrong and as Seth can't remember a thing about his past he becomes a deadly weapon for all humanity.
Which is why Alex leaves everything behind and tracks him down to help him. After all, Aramael is dead (or so she believes) and she doesn't really know what to do with her life.
But Armageddon is coming and every second counts. Now all the strings are moving and as we see the story from God and Lucifer's POV too we will have a marvelous front row seat in discovering their personalities, secrets and darkest motives. Which both of them have. And we will wonder: who is actually in control? Why is God always so sad?
What is the truth behind all this is a question I asked myself throughout the whole book.
As for the ending... the only thing I'm going to say about it is that it'll leave you with your heart aching and hoping to read the next book soon (and it will never be soon enough).
