  • Open to a random page
  • Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
  • BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS!
  • Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

Since I'm reading two books I'm going to tease you twice, huhuhuhu *evil laugh*

Queen of the Dead by Stacey Kade

"Since I'm pretty sure I don't meet your definition of 'important', as in 'living', it's none of your
damn business." Then i turned and walked thorough the wall.
If nothing else, you have to love being dead for the dramatic exits."

Sigh... believe me, Alona is quite the character, hahaha.

Blood & Light by Rue Volley

"After you two came back from the mirror... Jonathan stayed... He sat by your side for quite
some time and then one day, he came to me and asked to be removed from this.
He wanted me to take his memory... to send him back to his family, I protested, I knew he
was upset about you, he felt responsible... I guess he had come to realize that maybe
you would be better without him."

"Without him...? I don't understand... are you saying that you
did it for him, Theodore? "

"No, I did not, but he found someone who would..."

This book is about vampires but in a very different way... As soon as I finished it I'll write my review about it^^

Teasers anybody? it's going to be a long day so, don't hesitate, hahaha.

It's Monday! What are you reading?! (7)

It's Monday! What are you reading? is a weekly meme that comes to us from Sheila at Book Journey. To participate, simply post what you finished reading in the past week and what you plan to read this week. It is a good way to find other books you may enjoy reading. After you write your post, head over to Sheila's blog to leave your post's link on the link entry form at the bottom of the What are you reading? post.

This past week unfortunately was a very slow week for my reading, sigh... But, oh well, hopefully I'm going to have more free time now :D

What I finished reading:

If you like sci-fi books I really encourage you to read this book. My review is HERE.

What I'm reading now:

On my Wishlist (6)

On My Wishlist is a fun weekly event hosted by Book Chick City and runs every Saturday. It's where I list all the books I desperately want but haven't actually bought yet. They can be old, new or forthcoming. It's also an event that you can join in with too - Mr Linky is always at the ready for you to link your own 'On My Wishlist' post. If you want to know more click here.

I'm honestly dying to get this book but for some reason I can't understand The Book Depository doesn't have it... buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu!!! :(
But don't tell me it doesn't look awesome... just by looking at the cover I'm in love... *daydreaming*.

Official Blurb:

Mikayla doesn’t want much: just to rock out to her favorite band, become the next Kwiki Stop video gaming champion, and keep her Q-tip habit under control. What she does want is the sight of the sudden inexplicable dark auras around everyone to stop. Problem is, those auras are demons and Mikayla is the last trait holder with the power to ban them. Which is a total buzz kill.

To make matters worse, the town folk of Sulphur Springs don’t look the same, and her classmates are a little dark in the eyes. There are murders, suicides, reckless skinny-dipping, gratuitous use of Q-tips, and newfound powers that Mikayla must learn to control.

Her past becomes present when a shape-shifter tells her what her true identity is, and how to keep the demons of Hell from nipping at her Converse. Through him she’ll discover who to trust, who to kiss, and how valuable her abilities are to the right beings. Because the evils of Hell aren’t staying down without a fight.

Or without her soul.

And, I'm sure mot of you have read this series but I still need to catch up (please, don't kill me, remember I'm cute^^)

Hush, Hush
by Becca Fitzpatridk
Official Blurb:

For Nora Grey, romance was not part of the plan. She's never been particularly attracted to the boys at her school, no matter how much her best friend, Vee, pushes them at her...until Patch comes along.

With his easy smile and eyes that seem to see inside her, Nora is drawn to him against her better judgment, but after a series of terrifying encounters, Nora's not sure whom to trust. Patch seems to be everywhere she is, and to know more about her than her closest friends. She can't decide whether she should fall into his arms or run and hide. And when she tries to seek some answers, she finds herself near a truth that is far more unsettling than anything Patch makes her feel.

For Nora is right in the middle of an ancient battle between the immortal and those that have fallen - and when it comes to choosing sides, the wrong choice will cost her life.

Or without her soul.
