Sneak Peek: The Lost Prince

The Lost Prince
by Julie Kagawa
Release Date: 23rd October, 2012
Series: The Iron Fey: Call of the Forgotten #1

Official Blurb:

Don't look at Them. Never let Them know you can see Them.

That is Ethan Chase's unbreakable rule. Until the fey he avoids at all costs—including his reputation—begin to disappear, and Ethan is attacked. Now he must change the rules to protect his family. To save a girl he never thought he's dare to fall for.

Ethan thought he had protected himself from his older sister's world—the land of Faery. His previous time in the Iron Realm left him with nothing but fear and disgust for the world Meghan Chase has made her home, a land of myths and talking cats, of magic and seductive enemies. But when destiny comes for Ethan, there is no escape from a danger long, long forgotten.

My name is Ethan Chase. And I may not live to see my eighteenth birthday.

And finally we have a blurb!!! Oh my, I've been dying to know what this series would be about and although there's not to much information it does sound like a very interesting spin-off of The Iron Fey.

I know the cover has been out for quite a while but just allow me to say, again, how much I LOVE it. The model, which I assume is Ethan, besides being very handsome is also very alluring, the background with the dark forest is enticing and as always the design, the shadows and the font make a marvelous job.

Can't wait to buy it and read it ASAP!

  1. Even though I've only read the first book in The Iron Fey series, I know I will love the series when I'm finished reading it, so I'm also looking forward to this series, was and still am curious about it.

I see that they're keeping with similar design for the cover, like the title's typography and the swirly designs on the sides. I like it.

I don't know if I'll be finished reading the complete series before this releases, since there are so many books on my tbr.

  2. @Nazish Reads: I'm sure you are going to like The Iron Fey a lot, trust me. I began with the first book and couldn't help but to read the whole series in one week. As for the novellas, don't worry, they are now very long and are very easy to read in one sit.
Let me know your opinion when you finish them :D

Thanks for posting this. I have to admit, I feel a bit creepy thinking about how hot the cover is since Ethan was about 6 when we last saw him. LOL.
