The Sundering Excerpt

"The scent of leather and hay mixed together, washing over my senses. I melted into Aphotica, laying my head on her neck and closing my eyes. I felt every beat of her hooves, every breath she took mixed with my own. My soul came alive again, soaring above the clouds with wild abandon."

Invisibility
by Andrea Cremer & David Levithan
Release Date: May, 2013

Official synopsis:

Stephen has been invisible for practically his whole life — because of a curse his grandfather, a powerful cursecaster, bestowed on Stephen’s mother before Stephen was born. So when Elizabeth moves to Stephen’s NYC apartment building from Minnesota, no one is more surprised than he is that she can see him. A budding romance ensues, and when Stephen confides in Elizabeth about his predicament, the two of them decide to dive headfirst into the secret world of cursecasters and spellseekers to figure out a way to break the curse. But things don’t go as planned, especially when Stephen’s grandfather arrives in town, taking his anger out on everyone he sees. In the end, Elizabeth and Stephen must decide how big of a sacrifice they’re willing to make for Stephen to become visible — because the answer could mean the difference between life and death. At least for Elizabeth.

Release Date: June, 2013

Official synopsis:

To get what you want you have to move fast.

Gray Preston was born into money, but he’s built his racing empire on hard work and muscle. Now, with millions of fans, his senator father sends one of his aides, Evelyn Hill, to elicit Gray’s help in garnering votes for his upcoming national election. Gray wants nothing to do with his estranged father’s campaign, but Evelyn can be pretty persuasive. She’s willing to learn about racing, and maybe even get a little dirty.
Evelyn’s number-one goal is politics, which makes working with Gray difficult, because his only passion is fast cars. As she and Gray spend time together, he teaches her about the sport he loves, and she learns a lot about the man behind the wheel. The more she learns, the more she wants him. But any desire that threatens to derail the carefully laid plans for her future is a dangerous one.

With the passion Gray and Evelyn share running hotter than either imagined, one of them is going to have to compromise, or run the risk of losing more than their hearts.

OMG! I really want to know who does the amazing covers of the Play by Play series, people! 'Cause,
please, honestly, don't tell me this one isn't hot? Like, I'm sure you even gasped and sighed when you saw
it, right?

I mean, who wouldn't?! It's perfect, just like the others. And if you consider that this book will have CARS in it... I mean, races! Car races! Yes, I'm excited, sorry. I just love car races, I'm sure you can tell by now so I'll just shut up...

So yeah, big fan of the cover here... I can't wait to add this beauty to my actual collection of the
Play by Play series ;)

Cover reveal: Lauren by Julia Crane

Today I want to show you another beautiful cover thanks to AToMR Tours. This book is a spin-off from the YA fantasy series Keegan's Chronicles.

Lauren
by Julia Crane
Release Date: October, 2012

Official synopsis:

A girl with a second chance. A boy with a terrible secret. When the truth is revealed, Lauren's world comes crashing down.

For once, seventeen year old lauren's life is going right. She's attending the college of her dreams, has what appears to be the perfect boyfriend, and is surrounded by her childhood friends.

But her boyfriend, Tristan, grows more possessive by the day, and his temper is getting harder to keep in check. When lauren realizes Tristan is using her for her power, she has to make a choice: Tristan or her world.

You can find Julia Crane here:

The cover is very simplistic, actually. Which makes me focus my attention on the girl in the middle and how her wings come out of her back like air floating in the air.
I only read the first book in Keegan's Chronicles, Coexist, and I liked it a lot so hopefully I'll be able to read the other two books soon since I already have them in my Kindle, waiting for me...

What about you, guys? Have you read any of the other books? Would you like to read Lauren? Lik the cover or hate it? Opinions, I would love to hear them all! :]
